Hi, I'm Nina - the founder of Fri Period
I started Fri Period because I loved the idea of period underwear, but couldn't find a pair that felt comfy, was made without weird chemicals, and actually held up to my heavy flow.
And so, Fri Period was born.
My gorgeous friend Amy joined me and today, she looks after our US operations from Chicago, while I run Fri Period from Brisbane.
Fri Period launched in September 2023, and since then we have made periods comfier for thousands of women, preventing hundreds of thousands of single-use products from ending up on landfill.

Nina, Founder
Nina runs Fri Period day to day, from choosing fabrics to sharing helpful content on our socials. She has a background in marketing and a master's in human rights law, which is why a fair, transparent supply chain matters so much to her.
Off the clock, you'll find her exploring new restaurants with her family, cycling around town or playing with her golden retriever.
Amy, Co-founder
Amy has a master's in zoology and a background in conservation education. She loves that every pair keeps hundreds of disposables out of landfill. Off the clock, she's often found with her mini dachshunds, London and Momo, planning her next Disney trip, or painting bright and joyful pieces of art.
