We started Fri Period because we wanted to period better: we wanted to feel good about how we managed our period without sacrificing our health or comfort.

There are many shortcuts we could've taken in creating our products, but we have enough on our plate without having to worry about contributing to carbon emissions or unfair working conditions, or having our most intimate body parts exposed to harmful chemicals. We have cut no corners in bringing you a period product you can feel good about in every way!

FEMALE-LED TO THE CORE

Fri Period is a female-owned company. Although 42% of businesses in USA are women-owned, only 2.4% of venture capital funding went to female founders in 2022. By supporting women-led businesses, you are making an important contribution in helping to fix this disparity.

A PRODUCT THAT WON'T HARM YOU

Fri Period underwear are made entirely in the USA, including our fabric. The main body of the underwear is comprised of US-grown organic cotton, which means you can rest assured that it hasn’t been treated with harsh chemicals at any stage of its life. We chose a performance fabric for the gusset to ensure maximum comfort, but this fabric is also free of PFAS and any other nasty chemicals, and again is manufactured here in the US.

A PRODUCT THAT WON'T HARM ANYONE ELSE

There are very strict labor laws here in the USA to protect workers' rights. As well as minimum wage laws, there are regulations in place regarding safety and anti-discrimination. We guarantee that every single person involved in making your Fri Period underwear earns a decent living and works in excellent conditions.

We don't have various components traveling from across the globe before the product is ready. This heavily reduces transport emissions and supports a more sustainable supply chain.
